The only District 14-N Lions Club with 4 ACTIVE PAST DISTRICT GOVERNORS! Raymond C. Hayes, Jr., PDG 1996-1997; Jack B. McGaughey, PDG 2003-2004; Raymond C. Hayes, Sr., PDG 2004-2005 and Evan Punchard PDG 2005-2006

Activities :

UPCOMING EVENTS are: SWISS STEAK DINNER October 12th 11:00-2:00 at the Lodge, October 18 ROAD CLEAN-UP (meet at lodge at 8 am, WORLD SERVICE DAY October 24, meet at lodge 1:30, November 1 WHITE CANE collection, November 4 THANKSGIVING DINNER, November 5th start making CHRISTMAS CANDY and on December 9th the LIONS CHRISTMAS PARTY at 6:30 pm. Other yearly activities are making and selling Christmas candy, swing raffle, food booth at Summer Festival and Pumpkin Fest, halloween parade, collect eyeglasses and hearing aids, sell brooms, and purchase eyeglasses and hearing aids for those who need financial help. Made a donation to SightFirst II, support District Projects which include: PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp for the Blind, Leader Dog for the Blind, Lions Club International Foundation, PA Lions Hearing Research Foundation, PA Lions Sight Conservation and Eye Research and Diabetes Research, PA State Foundation, Western PA Lions Hearing Foundation, Lions Youth Outreach Program, VIP Sports, Lions of PA for Leader Dogs and District 14-N Convention Expenses. We also sell tickets for the District Fundraiser.
